Medical emergency suspected in LI teacher's pool crash
Allison Rahmani, a 40-year-old Long Island math coordinator and mother of four, died after her SUV crashed into a backyard pool in Hewlett. Investigators believe she suffered a medical emergency before the crash and do not suspect foul play; she called 911 from the vehicle but died en route to the hospital. Rahmani was mourned at her funeral, and she had been planning a Paris getaway with her husband.
