Multiple Arrests Made in Connection to January 6 Capitol Riot
Nathan Earl Hughes, a 34-year-old man from Fayetteville, Arkansas, has been arrested and charged with felony and misdemeanor offenses for his involvement in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Hughes is accused of pushing against a police line, helping rioters fight police, and attempting to breach the Capitol building. He was caught on surveillance video. This brings the total number of Arkansans arrested in connection with the Capitol riot to six.
