Austin Police Investigate Multiple Homicides and Murder-Suicides in Recent Weeks
Joyce Pingul Clarke, 55, was shot and killed by her husband, Gary Clarke, 56, in their north Austin apartment before he took his own life. Police responded to the scene after a neighbor reported hearing an argument and gunshots. The case is being investigated as Austin's 27th homicide of the year.
