Nedra Talley Ross, Last Ronette, Dies at 80
Nedra Talley Ross, the last surviving member of the Ronettes, died at age 80 at home, announced by her daughter. The group, formed with cousins Ronnie Spector and Estelle Bennett, rose to fame in the early 1960s with Be My Baby, produced by Phil Spector, and later dissolved amid royalties disputes; Talley pursued gospel music and real estate, and the Ronettes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
