Fisker Inc. is expanding its sales strategy for its electric vehicles (EVs) by establishing a network of about 100 dealer partners across North America and Europe, complementing its direct sales model. This move comes after the company adjusted its production targets in 2023 to prioritize liquidity, managing to produce over 10,000 Ocean EVs and deliver around 4,700. The new dealer network aims to offer no-haggle pricing and increase brand accessibility without requiring significant changes to existing dealer facilities. Fisker expects dealer partners to start receiving EVs by the end of Q1 2024, aligning with the launch of higher-volume models like the PEAR.
