Fatal Train Collision Shuts Down U.S. 24 in Rural Missouri
A 65-year-old semi-truck driver from Higbee, Missouri, was killed after crashing into a train at a railroad crossing equipped with a crossbar, bell, and warning light. The train derailed during the crash, and crews from Norfolk Southern Railroad are cleaning up debris and replacing portions of the damaged track.
