An Idaho man named Damian Zukaitis was arrested for stealing a single-engine plane from North Las Vegas and flying it to Barstow, California. He faces charges for possession of a stolen airplane and transporting stolen property across state lines. The plane, valued at $80,000, was located after its emergency transmitter was activated, and Zukaitis was apprehended by authorities as he attempted to taxi back to the airport. A stash of beer and alcohol was also found in the aircraft.
