Tar Heels Extend MLB Draft Momentum With Day-2 Trio
UNC's 2026 MLB Draft haul grew on Day 2, as Macon Winslow (Round 6, Phillies) — a 67-game starter who drove in 57 runs with 10 homers — joined Matthew Matthijs (Round 17, Mariners) and Joseph Lawson (Round 20, Marlins), adding to the four Tar Heels drafted in the first four rounds for a total of seven UNC players selected in this year's draft.
