Missouri Supreme Court opens contempt probe in GOP redistricting clash
Missouri’s Supreme Court has opened a contempt probe into Secretary of State Denny Hoskins for continuing to push a newly drawn GOP congressional map despite a ruling blocking its use, ordering Hoskins to explain why he should not be held in contempt and to appear in person at Thursday’s hearing as federal courts also push the state to adopt the map amid ongoing litigation.
