Dart Dazzles as Giants Open Season with Win Over Cowboys
In Week 1, the New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-20 behind Jaxson Dart’s 230 yards and three touchdowns (134.2 passer rating). Dart was accurate across the route tree, with Isaiah Likely catching 8 passes for 78 yards and 2 TDs, and Cam Skattebo powering the run game. Malik Nabers added consistent receiving, and a stout Giants defense—led by Abdul Carter and Tremaine Edmunds—held Dallas in a revamped scheme. The Cowboys showed early signs of adjustment struggles, while the Giants showcased a new identity under coach Harbaugh and earned a promising start on the road.
