Nurse's Deadly Actions Uncovered: Multiple Nursing Home Deaths Linked
Former Pennsylvania nurse Heather Pressdee, who had previously been charged with killing two patients with insulin, now faces additional murder charges and has confessed to attempting to kill 19 more patients at various rehabilitation centers across the state. In total, 17 patients died under Pressdee's care. The new charges include two counts of murder, 17 counts of attempted murder, and 19 counts of neglecting a care-dependent person. Pressdee's lawyer has not yet commented on the charges. The case has raised concerns about how Pressdee was able to work at multiple facilities over five years, and a separate wrongful-death lawsuit has been filed against one of the rehabilitation centers.
