Arrest Made in 20-Year-Old Cold Case Murder of NYPD Detective's Daughter.
Edward Holley, a 42-year-old man from New York, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the 2003 killing of Megan McDonald, the daughter of a retired NYPD detective. McDonald's body was found in a field in Wallkill, New York, and her car was found in a parking lot two days later. Holley, who would have been in his 20s at the time of the murder, was arrested after nearly 20 years of investigation and the case being featured on "Dateline."
