Anne Schedeen, ALF's Matriarch, Dies at 77
Anne Schedeen, best known as Kate Tanner on NBC's ALF (1986–1990), died at 77. The family said she passed peacefully; no cause of death was disclosed. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Christopher Barrett, and other family members. Born in Portland, Oregon, Schedeen built a long acting career with guest roles on shows including The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman before her ALF breakout.
