O’Charley’s Shuts Down Entire Chain After 55-Year Run
Nashville-based O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar is closing all remaining company-owned locations nationwide, ending a 55-year run. Tennessee spots including Clarksville, Hermitage, and Nashville are set to close by 8 p.m. on Sept. 9, with the Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia location—the last in the Chattanooga area—also shutting down. The chain, founded in 1971 and once expanding to about 52 locations, has not commented and has disabled its social media accounts.
