LMPD Officer Nick Wilt Overcomes Scare, Receives Community Support
Louisville Metro Police Officer Nick Wilt, who was shot in the head during a mass shooting in April, recently underwent a procedure to aid in his healing and recovery. Although there were post-surgery complications, Wilt showed remarkable resilience and sat up in a chair, smiling, just 10 hours after a significant scare. He continues to train at Frazier Rehab to rebuild his strength. The community has rallied around Wilt, hosting fundraisers to support him and his family during his recovery.
