Ford’s FIA WEC Hypercar Starts On-Track Testing Ahead of 2027 Debut
Ford Racing has begun full on-track testing of its FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar at Paul Ricard, using a home-built 5.4-liter Coyote V8 mated to an ORECA chassis. After smooth shakedowns, the program has seen Matt Campbell and Logan Sargeant drive the car, with Tom Blomqvist slated to drive later as Ford targets a 2027 WEC debut.
