Boston Commemorates 10th Anniversary of Marathon Bombing
Boston and the Boston Athletic Association held memorial ceremonies to honor the victims and survivors of the Boston Marathon bombing on the 10th anniversary of the attack. The granite, bronze, glass, and brick memorials were completed in 2019 and mark the two spots along Boylston Street where the bombs went off. The day serves as an opportunity to celebrate the resiliency and strength demonstrated in response to the tragedy.
