Parents of School Shooter Banned from Hearing.
The parents of the Oxford High School shooter, James and Jennifer Crumbley, have been denied permission to attend their son's Miller hearing, which will determine if he will have a chance at parole or spend the rest of his life in prison. The prosecution argued that the Crumbleys only wanted to attend the hearing to silence their son and prevent him from disclosing the full circumstances of his upbringing. The Crumbleys face up to 15 years in prison if convicted of involuntary manslaughter for buying their son the gun he used in the shooting.
