Gaza's Hospitals Struggle Amid Israeli Bombardment
The Palestine Red Crescent Society has warned that Gaza's hospitals are in a dire state, with 18 out of 35 hospitals out of service due to bombardment or extreme shortages of fuel and medical supplies. Al-Quds Hospital, run by the Palestine Red Crescent Society, has had to reduce services and operations, with the main generator turned off and the surgical ward and oxygen generator shut down. The hospital is unable to receive aid due to the ongoing bombardments and closed roads. The situation is critical, with patients, including those on life support, at risk of losing their lives. The Palestine Red Crescent Society has called on the international community to intervene and allow the entry of humanitarian aid, including fuel, into Gaza.
