Party City is reopening as Party City at Staples in more than 700 Staples stores nationwide, with plans to expand to additional locations by the end of 2026. Party City is also closing some of its stores by June 26 as part of its expedited financial restructuring process. The retail industry has seen a growing number of bankruptcies this year, including David's Bridal, which filed for bankruptcy protection in April and plans to close all of its locations if it can't find a buyer.
