Insights into the Vallow Daybell case: Testimonies and Recordings.
Two weeks before his death, Alex Cox received a 15-minute patriarchal blessing from Chad Daybell, promising that he was elect and a warrior for God. Daybell gave the blessing on his own accord, and Cox's sister Lori Vallow Daybell was present. Cox died on Dec. 12, 2019, and the audio recording and written transcript of the blessing were admitted into evidence during Lori Daybell's murder trial.
