Larian Studios founder, Swen Vincke, had expected a maximum of 100,000 CCU. The game's success has positioned it as one of the most successful releases of 2023, surpassing other popular titles like Goose Goose Duck, Apex Legends, and Valheim. Baldur's Gate 3 currently holds a 92% rating on Steam and is set to release on PlayStation 5 on September 6.
