Judy Blume: A Timeless Author and Advocate.
The new documentary "Judy Blume Forever" highlights the stories of readers who became pen pals with the author as kids, including Lorrie Kim and Karen Chilstrom. Blume's letters to them are part of the collection of Yale University's Beinecke Library. Kim, who is now a writer herself, said that Blume did a lot for her for no reason except to be kind, and she's not the only one. They became close, and Blume even attended Kim's college graduation.
