Honoring the Bravery of Fargo Police Officer Jake Wallin
The funeral for Fargo Police Officer Jake Wallin, who was killed in the line of duty during a shooting on July 14, was held in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. Wallin, 23, had recently joined the Fargo Police Department and had a military career that included deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. Two other officers and a bystander were injured in the shooting. The family has requested donations to be made in Wallin's memory to the Soldier's 6 organization.
