
Photoroom Secures $43M in Series B Funding, Valued at $500M
Photoroom, the AI-based photo-editing app from Paris, has raised $43 million at a $500 million valuation, bringing its total funding to $64 million. The company, which processes 5 billion images annually and has 150 million downloads, plans to use the funding to expand its team, invest in R&D and infrastructure, and further develop its AI models for product photography. The funding round was led by Balderton Capital with participation from Aglaé and Y Combinator, and the company aims to double its current 50-employee count by the end of the year.
