Apple bets on plasma tech to sculpt next-gen devices
Apple, via an EU filing, is set to acquire PlasmaSolve, a Czech company known for plasma simulation software and its MatSight tool that helps model plasma-based manufacturing processes. The move could support Apple’s upcoming hardware designs and materials by enabling better coating and fabrication across new form factors, including rumored foldable iPhone Ultra and other redesigns; Apple hasn’t publicized plans for PlasmaSolve yet.
