Cities: Skylines 2 Expands Playable Areas with Massive Maps
Cities: Skylines 2, the upcoming urban management sequel, will feature a playable area approximately five times larger than the first game. The game will offer 441 map tiles to build on, allowing players to create "pocket towns" and connect them to their main city or leave them isolated. The increased height limit also enables players to build communities in mountainous regions. The game will include different map variants based on real-world locations, and players can choose between European and North American themes that affect building designs and other visual elements. Cities: Skylines 2 is set to launch on October 24th on Steam and Game Pass.
