Violent Weekend in Columbus Leaves Trail of Shootings and Vandalism
Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther and Police Chief Elaine Bryant are set to address a violent weekend, with two shootings yet to have any count of their multiple victims released publicly. The shootings are believed to be a result of changed gun laws in 2022 that now allow Ohioans to carry a weapon concealed without a permit. Ginther and Bryant have called on the state and federal government to step up and keep guns off the streets.
