
Imported Italian pork jowl recalled over possible listeria risk
The USDA FSIS issued a recall for about 1,513 pounds of imported dry‑cured pork jowl from Italy, produced May 21, 2026, with best-by dates 05.16.27. The affected products from Prime Line Distributors and Ferrarini USA were shipped to locations in Florida, California, and several other states; no illnesses have been reported.
