Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta Pre-Install Opens Ahead of Early Access Weekend
Gears of War: E-Day’s Open Beta is now available to pre-install for select Xbox and Windows PC players via the Xbox Store or Steam. Early access runs August 6–10, followed by a full open beta August 13–17; pre-orders and Game Pass subscribers can download the multiplayer beta now. The download is large—about 82.3GB on Xbox Series X|S and ~80GB on PC—and includes Horde Siege (PvE co-op) and Versus modes, with Horde Siege recommended first. The full game launches October 6, 2026.
