Chinese residents and a real estate firm in Florida have filed a federal complaint seeking to overturn a bill signed by Governor Ron DeSantis that prohibits property purchases by citizens from China and other countries. The plaintiffs argue that the law is discriminatory and will create a chilling effect for all Asian-Americans. The law is set to take effect in July.
