Baidu's Ernie chatbot sparks AI application frenzy with public approval
Baidu has launched over 10 new AI applications, including a generative AI-integrated word processing app called WPS AI, after its Ernie chatbot received public approval. The company also showcased generative AI-based products for traffic management, financial research, and coal mine logistics. Baidu's Qianfan cloud platform, used by nearly 10,000 businesses monthly, was instrumental in developing these applications. Additionally, Baidu revealed that more than 6 million users have utilized its AI-powered tool within its cloud product, enabling document search, text summarization, translation, and content creation.
