BMW's Classic Motorcycles Get a Modern Upgrade
BMW has unveiled the R 12 nineT, a new evolution of the R nineT, ten years after its debut. The R 12 nineT is air- and oil-cooled, and features a redesigned air box and exhaust. The bike has a capacity of around 1,200 cc and has a classic, purist design. The chassis looks like it’s been redesigned too, and the subframe is still a bolt-on unit, making it easier to tweak. BMW has not yet revealed the cost, power and weight numbers, or whether there will be Scrambler and Urban G/S versions of it.
