Federal Funding Boosts Amtrak Expansion in Michigan and Beyond
Michigan has received grant funding from the U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to plan for the expansion of Amtrak train service, including into Ontario, Canada. The funding will support the development of new and improved rail corridors, with nearly a dozen projects ready for construction and an additional 69 corridors chosen for future development.
