Rampart Range Wildfire Contained with No Evacuations.
A wildfire is burning about 2.5 miles southeast of Woodland Park in the Rampart Range area, visible from Colorado Springs. As of 3 p.m., about 10 acres had burned, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. As of 4:50 p.m., there were no evacuation notices in place, but a pre-evacuation notice was briefly issued for a neighborhood near Woodland Park. The US Forest Service is providing updates on the fire.
