Rare Beatles Recording Tapes Set to Command $500k at Auction
Rare and never-before-heard recordings of The Beatles, including band rehearsals, unreleased albums, and personal interviews, are up for auction and expected to fetch anywhere from $300,000 to $500,000. The tapes, obtained by a memorabilia collector, feature gems such as rehearsals for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, George Harrison's unreleased album with The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, and an intimate interview with John Lennon questioning Yoko Ono's motives. The auction is live now through Gotta Have Rock and Roll and ends Friday.
