Guardian U.S. hits new revenue peak of $81 million fueled by reader donations
The Guardian U.S. posted a record $81 million in revenue for its latest fiscal year, driven mainly by recurring reader donations (about 70%) and with advertising around 25%; profits from contributions topped $34 million, and revenue has grown about 25% annually over two years. The nonprofit plans nearly $100 million in revenue for the year ending March 31, 2027 and will add about 20 staff as it expands beyond politics.
