Whitehaven Shooting Leaves Multiple Injured and 1 Dead
Two Memphis police officers were shot in the Whitehaven area while responding to an armed party call. The suspect, who was also shot, is in critical but stable condition. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident, and the ATF is on its way to assist. The officers and suspect were taken to Regional One Medical Center. The rise of gun violence must stop, said Mayor Jim Strickland.
