BJP's Indefinite Protest Against Kejriwal's Lavish Living Amid Renovation Row
The BJP will launch an indefinite sit-in protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence over the renovation row, alleging that the Kejriwal government spent Rs 45 crore on the renovation of his residence during the Covid outbreak. The sit-in protest will be held near Flagstaff Road in the Civil Lines area, where the CM's residence is located. The BJP has accused the Delhi government of being involved in various scams and spending more than the sanctioned amount on the renovation. Delhi L-G VK Saxena has ordered officials to secure the records of expenditure and sought a report on the matter within 15 days.
