DJI Osmo 360 II Debuts with 8K60, Swappable Lenses and Rugged kept

DJI launched the Osmo 360 II in China (Aug 13, 2026) starting at about $499 for the standard bundle, with an Adventure Combo near $599. The new model upgrades to dual 1.1-inch sensors that record native 8K60 video, adds user-replaceable lenses with an ion-coated finish, and increases storage to 128GB (105GB usable) plus a microSD slot (up to 1TB). It packs a 2,150 mAh battery (~100 minutes at 8K/30p) and IP68 waterproofing to 10 meters (50 meters with a dive housing). Other improvements include AI SuperNight 2.0 for better low-light performance and a higher 14.5-stop D-Log M dynamic range. US pricing and release aren’t announced yet, with a broader rollout expected by late September. This is a standalone 360 camera, not a phone gimbal, addressing many reliability concerns from the original by enabling swappable lenses and tougher design.
