Trump's NFTs Reach Record Highs Amid Indictment News
The resale price of former US President Donald Trump's non-fungible token (NFT) trading cards has surged to around $974 following news of his indictment by a grand jury in Manhattan. The floor price for Trump's NFTs was $748 as of March 29, but had risen to $974 by April 1. Trump's digital trading cards sold out within 12 hours of release in December 2020, with all 45,000 cards purchased by around 14,000 people. The former president will not benefit financially from the surge in resale price.
