"Richmond Area Schools Face Potential Monday Closure"
Several school systems in the greater Richmond area, including Henrico County Public Schools and Petersburg City Public Schools, will be closed on Monday, October 9th, due to Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day. Hopewell City Public Schools will have a teacher workday, while Richmond City Public Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools will remain open.
