Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Action Button: Innovative Transformation or Missed Opportunity?
Apple has announced that the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will replace the traditional Ring-Silent switch with a new Action button. The Action button can be customized to perform various functions, such as toggling between silent and ring mode, launching the camera or voice memos, or activating an accessibility feature. Visual feedback will be displayed in the Dynamic Island when the Action button is used. The iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999, and all models in the iPhone 15 lineup feature the Dynamic Island and USB-C charging. Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
