Riot Games Implements Background Patching for VALORANT Client.
Riot Games is introducing background patching to its Riot Client, allowing players to download and install patches for all games while the client is open. The first version of background patching will fully update VALORANT, with plans to expand to League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics in the future. Players can opt-in to keep their games up to date and ready to play at any time. The feature is currently available in beta and will launch fully next month.
