White House bans topless activist from future events.
The White House announced that trans model Rose Montoya, who took her top off during an LGBTQ Pride Month celebration on the South Lawn, will not be invited to future events. Press Secretary Karine-Jean Pierre condemned Montoya's behavior as disrespectful and unfair to other attendees. Montoya defended her actions as an act of joy in celebrating the transgender community. The event was the largest Pride event in White House history and included speeches from President Joe Biden and the first lady, as well as a performance from singer Betty Who.
