Sinkhole Repair Work Continues on Route 202 in King of Prussia
The northbound lanes of Route 202 in Montgomery County, near King of Prussia Mall, have partially reopened as crews continue to repair a sinkhole. However, the southbound lanes remain closed due to another sinkhole found on that side of the road. The repairs were complicated by new problems discovered after concrete was poured, requiring the concrete to be ripped up and further investigations into potential drainage issues. The closure has caused traffic disruptions for holiday shoppers and nearby businesses are without water. The road is expected to remain closed throughout the weekend.
