Tragic end for PennWest California soccer signee as boyfriend and mother face charges
An 18-year-old Peters Township High School graduate and incoming PennWest California soccer signee, Karoline Heintz, was found dead in the back of her parked Jeep in California Borough after authorities say she was stabbed. Her boyfriend, Royce Moser, 18, is charged with criminal homicide, and his mother, Rachel Moser, is charged with hindering apprehension, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and obstruction after allegedly helping clean the crime scene and dispose of evidence; police say the investigation continues and PennWest California and state police are cooperating.
