The World's Narrowest Hotel: A Nine-Foot Wonder
PituRooms, a new hotel in Salatiga, Indonesia, is vying for the title of the "world's skinniest hotel." Measuring just 9 feet wide, the five-story building features seven rooms, each equipped with a double bed and small bathroom. The hotel aims to showcase Salatiga as a unique tourist destination and generate interest in the local community. While the city is relatively unknown to foreigners, its owner, Ary Indra, hopes that PituRooms will be the first of many projects to change that perception. In addition to the hotel rooms, there is a rooftop restaurant and plans to host events and art exhibitions.
