
15 Salisbury University Students Charged in Anti-Gay Hate Crime
Three more individuals have been arrested in connection with a hate crime assault on a man near Salisbury University, targeted for his sexual orientation. The suspects, all university students, face charges including first-degree assault and hate crime offenses. The incident involved the victim being lured under false pretenses, assaulted, and subjected to derogatory slurs. The university has suspended the students involved, and a fraternity linked to some of the accused has also been suspended. A community vigil was held in response to the attack.
