Red-light crash kills Vista e-bike rider
A 26-year-old man riding an electric bike was killed in Vista after crossing South Melrose Drive against a red light and being struck by a northbound vehicle. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, and authorities said drugs or alcohol were not factors.
